Program structure

The program consists of two stages. During the first stage, students acquire methodological skills and area specific knowledge, and lay the foundation of their dissertation research. Activities include course work, writing and presenting a literature review, and writing and defending a thesis proposal. The second stage is devoted to writing and defending the thesis. Throughout the program students participate in the PhD seminars.
