THE SPOT 2019: sport and innovation at its best

Have you ever wondered what sport will look like in the future? How technology will change how sport is played, governed and even conceptualised? Look no further than THE SPOT, an exciting event by ThinkSport which brings together bright minds, visionaries and fresh innovations from different sectors to stimulate progress in sport. In an open space with a dynamic atmosphere, participants will be exposed to a wide range of content and experiences all happening at the same time including: a Market Place showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative thinking of companies, start-ups and academics; a Demo Zone where participants can test various skills in virtual reality; a start-up battle where young pioneering companies go toe to toe; fascinating speakers lined up for talk back sessions; and exceptional networking opportunities. After the successful, sold-out inaugural edition in 2018, THE SPOT will once again provide countless out-of-the-box experiences from 28 to 29 May 2019 in the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne.
