WHEN DIALOGISM CROSSES THE BORDERS OF PSYCHOLOGY
By considering intersubjectivity as a fundamental characteristic of human mind, by focusing on institu- tional practices, social interactions and discourse, as well as on the material and symbolic environment, dialogism prompts a holistic approach to human behaviour and mind. In doing so, it reconfigures classic research objects in psychology and creates new ones. Challenging the very idea of boundaries between disciplines, it promotes transdisciplinarity and questions the responsibility of researchers as citizens who actively and collectively participate in social production and reproduction.
