India is a large and diverse country. Many communities (clans), religions and cultures coexist here and prosper. Mizoram is the smallest of the eight states of north-eastern India. Mizoram is mostly inhabited by Mizo tribes. Their old culture, socio-political system, lifestyle, food habits, rituals, customs, festivals, dance & music, religious beliefs, languages, etc. are different from most mainland tribes as well as from the societies and cultures of India.
