Abstract

Although Switzerland is known to have developed a very successful tourism sector from the end of the 18th century, this process has not been carried out smoothly. Crises in the form of wars, economic recessions and health crises have affected activities more or less durably. On each occasion, they have given rise to reorganizations, in particular in hotel development policies and the intervention of the State in the planned orientations. The presentation will attempt to understand their forms and impacts.

La conférence sera donnée en anglais.
