Abstract

This lecture examines the phenomena of mass murder and mass shootings in America. America is now experiencing nearly 2 mass shootings every day. Roughly 80% of all mass shootings outside of war zones occur in the United States. Several high-profile case studies will be reviewed.

About the speaker
Chris Eskridge currently serves as a Professor in the School of Criminology at the University of Nebraska, and as the Director of the American Society of Criminology.
