Kathleen Jamie, poet and essayist, is one of the leading voices in environmental writing in the UK today. Her poetry collections include The Overhaul (winner of 2012 Costa Poetry Prize), and The Tree House (2004 Forward Prize). Her non-fiction includes the critically acclaimed trilogy Findings, Sightlines, and Surfacing, which meditate deeply and movingly on the relation between human communities and the natural world.

Her non-fiction includes the critically acclaimed trilogy Findings, Sightlines, and Surfacing, which meditate deeply and movingly on the relation between human communities and the natural world. Since being appointed Makar (Poet Laureate of Scotland) in 2021, she has launched an innovative series of collective and intermedial poetry projects, such as Paperboats, Second Nature and the Life Breath Songs. Her latest volume of poems, Cairn, is published by Sort of Books (2024).
