Corporate Power, Elites, and Networks

Diliara Valeeva has made important research contributions on corporate power and elites. A pioneer in applying computational methods to elite research, she has analyzed networks of over 200 millionen corporations, enhancing our understanding of shareholder capitalism, financialisation and elite globalization. She has expanded elite research beyond Western-centric perspectives, notably by examining the occupational careers of managers worldwide. Currently, she leads a project on technological elites and the outer space industry.
