Several awards were conferred to professors to recognize the quality of their teaching
The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC Lausanne) at the University of Lausanne has granted 22 "HEC Lausanne Best Teacher Awards" to honor educators for the success of their courses with students.
Since 2014, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Business and Economics has been promoting the recognition of the faculty's teaching quality through an annual award. The award recipients are decided through student surveys and validated by the Dean's Office. Professor Paul André, Vice Dean of Teaching and Student Affairs, congratulates the awarded professors.
In the Bachelor programs, the awards for the best teachers were given to:
- Kenza Benhima, for the 1st year of Bachelor
- Quentin Gallea, for the 1st year of Bachelor
- Ottilie Tilston, for the 2nd year of Bachelor
- Joao Montez, for the 2nd year of Bachelor
- Bettina Klaus, for the 3rd year of Bachelor in Economics
- Jean-Paul Renne, for the 3rd year of Bachelor in Economics
- Margarita Sanchez Jurado, for the 3rd year of Bachelor in Management
- Markus Christen, for the 3rd year of Bachelor in Management
In the Master programs, the awards were presented to the following teachers:
- Hansjörg Albrecher, for the Master in Actuarial Science
- Séverine Arnold, for the Master in Actuarial Science
- Christine Legner, for the Master in Information Systems
- Yash Raj Shrestha, for the Master in Information Systems
- Markus Christen, for the Master in Management
- Isabelle Engeler, for the Master in Management
- Philip Valta, for the Master in Finance
- Roxana Mihet, for the Master in Finance
- Bettina Klaus, for the Master in Economics
- Jean-Paul Renne, for the Master en Economics
- Alain Schatt, for the Master in Accounting, Control, and Finance
- Ludiwine Arpino, for the Master in Accounting, Control, and Finance
- Anouk Neuenschwander, for the Master in Law and Economics
- Pascal Favrod-Coune, for the Master in Law and Economics
The public announcement of the awards was made during the diploma celebrations held on November 18 for Master graduates and November 19 for Bachelor graduates. The Prize Committee and the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Business and Economics once again express their thanks and congratulations to these educators.
