Bike to Work 2024. On your bikes, get set, go!

When you cycle, you actively contribute to your own good health and save time on your commute. The Dorigny campus is only a 20-minute bike ride from downtown Lausanne and less than 10 minutes from Renens train station!

Did you know that in 2023, 19.4% of the academic staff chose cycling for their commuting? Compared to 13.4% for administrative and technical staff, and 6.6% for students (Survey on mobility practices of the university community, 2023 - in French).

To motivate you, participate in the national Bike to Work campaign next May and automatically enter the draw for numerous prizes. UNIL also offers several vouchers worth CHF 50.- for a friendly moment at Le Perchoir with your teammates.

Before getting on your bike:

• Motivate your colleagues to form a team of up to 4 members.
• Register the team on the Bike to Work website.
• Get your bikes ready, set, go!
• Complete your personal calendar online or on the app during May.
