CALL FOR PAPERS

Innovations in hypermedia impact beyond ways to deliver content and experiences but shape ways of thinking concerning creativity, collaborative work, and publishing cycles. In this view, the Web hosts technologies that operate as creative ecosystems through informal, cross-platform practices, producing new forms of user engagement along the conception, distribution, and consumption of content.

Topics

The special issue aims to capture a diverse range of research related to the dynamic nature of hypertext authoring, reading, and publishing. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Content-based analysis for the automatic or assisted augmentation, understanding or composition of hypermedia systems
  • Semantic web, ontologies and recommender systems for the curation, realisation and management of documents, collections or hypermedia systems
  • Discourse studies on hypermedia systems as a research tool for knowledge distribution (epistemologies, identities, ideologies)
  • Artificial intelligence methods for the processing and generation of hypermedia content
  • Tools and infrastructures for hypermedia authoring and interactive reading practices
