Established in 2016, the Cognitive and Affective Regulation Laboratory (CARLA) serves as an interdisciplinary hub led by a dedicated team of researchers in the fields of cognitive and affective sciences. As of October 2024, the lab is led by Domicele Jonauskaite, who fosters a collaborative environment of likeminded researchers at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
Our team includes six professors—Joël Billieux, Elise Dan-Glauser, Peter Hilpert, Christine Mohr, Meike Ramon, Valentino Pomini—and two senior lecturers, Anik Debrot and Domicele Jonauskaite. Bringing together researchers from diverse fields, we aim to bridge the gap between applied and basic science by focusing on the cognitive and affective processes that regulate human behavior.
