CIG Symposium 2012, Center for Integrative Genomics (CIG) in Lausanne, Switzerland, June 14-15, 2012

CIG Symposium 2012 in the honour of Professor Walter Wahli

The CIG Symposium 2012, will be held at the Center for Integrative Genomics (CIG) in Lausanne Switzerland on June 14-15, 2012.

This Symposium will be very special, as it will be held in the honour of Prof. Walter Wahli, the founding director of the CIG, who will retire that year. It will be the sixth in the series of annual meetings at our institute, a new, dynamic research center of the University of Lausanne, enjoying the stunning backdrop of Lake Geneva and the Alps. By bringing together international leaders in the chosen field, these Symposia have rapidly become a major meeting in Switzerland and attract substantial number of researchers from across Europe and the USA.

In this Symposium in the honour of Prof. Walter Wahli, we have designed a programme that will cover the main areas of research he worked on during his career. By bringing together the best researchers in the fields of development, nuclear receptors and transcriptional mechanisms, and metabolism and nutrigenomics, we aim for an exceptional opportunity to promote interactions between outstanding scientists.
