The work of the members of the CWP is devoted to the history of economic and political thought. The CWP is open to a wide range of methodological approaches without loosing sight of scientific rigour. The variety of our work is organized around three main issues which are interpretation, epistemology, and contextuality. Individual PhD projects are pursued under the supervision of the professors of the Centre. In addition, we currently run three projects that are funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
