What is EuTEACH?
EuTEACH provides a training curriculum with objectives, strategies and resources for trainers and teachers. Although the training tools are mainly for experienced professionals, it is also a learning tool for those less experienced in the field of adolescent health.
EuTEACH was developed by a multidisciplinary network of health professionals from Switzerland and elsewhere in Europe. The goal was to design and implement a training package for professionals interested in improving adolescent health care in their countries.
The EuTEACH program is run and maintained by a group of health professionals from various medical disciplines. We also collaborate with agencies such as the World Health Organization, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA).
The EuTEACH group is often asked to provide courses in other countries, and have run highly successful courses in Russia, Portugal, Kosovo, Madagascar, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Egypt, etc. EuTEACH courses have a strong focus on capacity development and training of trainers in adolescent health.
