Elena Agulleiro is a first-year Master's student in Law and Economics (MDE) at HEC Lausanne. She completed her bachelor's degree in International Relations with a major in Economics and a minor in Law (BARI, International Economics track at UNIGE) in Geneva. During her exchange semester in 2023, she dedicated a week to developing a project on the theme "Tomorrow's World" as part of the University of Exeter's Grand Challenges. Elena is actively involved in several associations. She joined Innovation Time Lausanne upon her arrival at the University of Lausanne and organized events for the same association in Geneva (Innovation Time Geneva) during the first semester of her third year of master's studies. Additionally, Elena serves as a jurist for the EPFL Junior Enterprise and as treasurer for the AEMDE association in her master's program.
Aside from her studies, Elena participates in athletics, specializing in the 400m sprint. She competed in several competitions in 2022 and also played volleyball when she was younger. Both sports are activities she continues to engage in with her friends, participating in university sessions in Geneva, Exeter, and Lausanne. During the summer, she also enjoys road cycling.
