Repère Digital wins the Jury Prize in the Innovation By Design Challenge 2023

The Innovation by Design Challenge prize-giving ceremony took place on 15 November, at which the Repère Digital project by Raphaël (SSP, UNIL) and Coline Aubry (Droits de l'enfant, UNIGE) were awarded the Jury Prize of CHF 8,000.

With the aim of initiating original collaborations between young companies and designers from the region, ECAL, the City of Renens, EPFL, Innovaud, HEIG-VD, UNIL, EHL and Les Ateliers de Renens are organising workshops to improve a prototype of a product/service offering by using design levers and integrating the user aspect. The collaborative work focuses on one or more facets of design, such as product design, visual communication, service design, interaction design and information design. To ensure an enriching experience, each team is accompanied by design and business coaches.

The Repère Digital project tackles the issue of the harmful impact of digital technology on young children. Working with designers Laura Deschl and Bodgan Nastase, they have developed a set of awareness-raising cards for families.
