Agora at UNIL: science meets society
The Agora instrument aims to promote dialogue between scientists and society: it encourages scientists to communicate their current research to a non-specialist audience.
Based on interaction and mutual listening, Agora projects enable scientists and the public to meet directly, thus stimulating exchanges between all participants.
At UNIL, a committee made up of members of UNICOM, the Service de Culture et Médiation Scientifique and the Service de la Recherche monitors Agora projects, providing targeted support for the preparation of applications and assistance with scientific communication and/or mediation.
It is not compulsory to go through the Agora committee, but it is strongly recommended.
