International Sustainability Campus Network - Calling all Sustainability Enthusiasts!
Are you passionate about sustainability and want to gain valuable experience while connecting with international leaders in the field? The International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN) conference is coming to Lausanne, and we're seeking enthusiastic students to join our volunteer team.
ISCN is a global network of universities dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in higher education. This year's conference, hosted by the École Hotelière de Lausanne (EHL), École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and the University of Lausanne (UNIL), will take place from June 25-27, 2024, on the EHL Campus.
Volunteer with us!
We have four exciting volunteer roles available:
- General Support: Become a welcoming face for the conference, assist with registration, guide attendees on campus and around Lausanne, help with room setup and waste sorting, and support with various tasks throughout the event.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support for presentations, ensure smooth operation of MS Teams webinars, and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Notetaker: Capture key points from each session and contribute to a final conference report.
- Photographer: Capture the essence of the conference with candid and staged photos, collaborate with organizers on a shot list, process photos, and grant permission for their use.
Benefits of volunteering
The ISCN Conference is the global meeting of experts working every day for the ecological transition of higher education institutions. It is a professional event attended by hundreds of specialists in several disciplines linked to sustainability and featuring over 40 sessions, physical and virtual, 15 short talks, poster display.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Attend the event for free (750 CHF.- value)
- Gain valuable experience in event management and sustainability practices
- Network with international sustainability leaders
- Attend conference sessions and broaden your knowledge of global sustainability initiatives at universities
- Free lunches provided throughout the event
