Translation Grant Programme 2025 application deadlines

Literature Ireland's translation grant programme allows international publishers to apply for a contribution towards the cost of the translator of a work of Irish literature from English or Irish into another language. 

2025 grant application deadlines are as follows: 8th April, 24th June, 25th November.

Applications must be submitted within a two-week window preceding each application deadline. Applications made before or after this two-week window will not be considered.

• Spring Grant application window: 25.03.25 – 08.04.25 
• Summer Grant application window: 10.06.25 – 24.06.25 
• Autumn Grant application window: 11.11.25 – 25.11.25
