For this edition, congratulations to:
- The team of students who took part in the 16th CFA Institute Research Challenge in Switzerland and Liechenstein, with Lorenzo Mattei, Diego Misitano, Lola Wolf, Alessandro Misceo and Andrea Ghirardini. Under the supervision of Prof. Norman Schürhoff and his assistant Simone Gennari, the team came 3rd in the Swiss final on 13 February at the University of Zurich, out of 42 teams. The University of St. Gallen won the competition, followed by the University of Neuchâtel. This global financial analysis competition promotes the emergence of new talent and rewards the best presentation and written analysis of a listed company by a team of students. - Isabelle Engeler, Professor in the Department of Marketing, who received "The Phillips and Nadkarni Award for Outstanding Paper on Diversity and Cognition" from the Academy of Management (AOM) in 2024, along with her co-authors. Entitled "A Playful Path to more Professional Equity? Networking Across Diversity via Sport", this research explores how play can mitigate the effects of homophily in professional networks, encouraging more inclusive interactions between individuals of different gender and status.
