Research interest
I’m investigating the anti tumor immune response and downstream immune cascade, activated or not, in glioblastoma and normal brain after irradiation at ultra high dose rate (FLASH).
Background
I studied at l’Université Claude Bernard Lyon (France) where I obtained my Bachelor's in Physiology and subsequently did a Master's in Immunology & Cancer at the University of Lausanne.

Research interest
My PhD is in the field of onco-immunology, focusing on immune modulation and radiotherapy treatments for solid tumors.
Background
I graduated from University of Lausanne with an MSc in Medical Biology in 2019. After finishing my master’s thesis project, I worked as a research assistant for one year prior starting a PhD in March 2020 in the laboratory of Pr Pedro Romero.
Research interest
Oxygen contribution and production of reactive oxygen species after FLASH irradiation in cell free systems and biological systems such as zebrafish.
Background
I’m a chemist and graduate of the international Erasmus Master’s program SERP+, from the University of Paris-Saclay (France) and the University of Porto (Portugal).
Research Interests
I am interested in ultra-high-dose-rate (FLASH) radiotherapy, exosome biology, mitigation of radiotherapy-induced normal tissue toxicity, and bioinformatics. I am currently working on identifying and explaining differences in tumor response to FLASH and conventional-dose-rate radiotherapies.
Background
I earned my undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at the University of California. Following six years in industry at Zymo Research Corp. Irvine, CA., I undertook a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California, under the supervision of Dr Charles Limoli.

Research Interests
I’m an expert in zebrafish and in-vitro of the lab. My interest lies in exploring mechanisms of FLASH irradiation with in-vitro (cellular, molecular level) and zebrafish model.
Background
I have a Master’s in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of Lille (France).

Technician RTT | Institute of radiation physics, Lausanne University Hospital |
Research interest
I have an interest in research for the benefit of radiation protection of patients, workers and the public, and therefore involved in projects ranging from radiobiology to occupational dosimetry monitoring.
Background
With a Bachelor’s in Medical Radiology Technics study (HES-SO, HESAV) gained in 2008, I worked in the Service of nuclear medicine of the Lausanne University Hospital, particularly working on radiation therapies. In 2014, I moved to the hospital’s Institute of radiation physics, as a scientific collaborator and radiation protection expert. I completed the joint HES-SO/UNIL Master’s in Health Sciences in 2021, in the course of which I had the chance to begin an ongoing collaboration with the Vozenin Lab.
Scientific collaborator | Institute of radiation physics, Lausanne University Hospital |
Research interest
My current focus is on deciphering the critical beam parameters and molecular mechanisms involved in the FLASH effect.
Background
During my PhD at the Laboratory for ion beam interactions at the Ruder Boskovic Institute in Zagreb (Croatia), I investigated the application of ion microbeams for characterization of solid state radiation detectors. During postdoctoral research at the Radiological Research Accelerator Facility (RARAF) of Columbia University's Irving Medical Center in New York, I was investigating radiobiological mechanisms by which different types of radiation affect living cells.
Scientific collaborator | Institute of radiation physics, Lausanne University Hospital |
Research interest
My research interests include FLASH radiotherapy (RT), RT treatment planning systems, Monte Carlo codes, Very-high energy electrons (VHEE) beams, proton and carbon ion therapy, and the clinical translation of novel RT treatment techniques.
Background
I am a certified medical physicist with a PhD in medical radiation physics from Stockholm University. I have previously worked at CERN, Karolinska Institute, MedAustron, and PSI.
