DSB Literature Seminar Series
The DSB labs are a supportive environment for many doctoral candidates (MD, MD-PhD, and PhD) working on individual thesis projects. Here, they deepen their abilities to synthesize and critically evaluate scientific information and develop their own research niches and approaches. To do so, the DSB members take turns in organizing the so-called “DSB Literature Seminar Series”. In each of these series (running over one academic year), paper discussion workshops are organized and supervised by “senior” DSB members. These workshops are not just for passive listening but require active participation. Students are encouraged to engage in discussions and share their perspectives, making the learning experience more enriching and rewarding. This active discussion allows the obtention of 2 ECTS for a series of 12 seminars.
