Depending on your goal, you can study here in one or the other of the following categories:
Regular students (normally aiming to obtain a degree at the University of Lausanne)
Exchange students at UNIL (within the framework of an exchange agreement)
Guest students (outside of the framework of an agreement)

Exchange students can follow courses within the programme of the Bachelor in Biology.

The courses of the first two years of the Bachelor programme are taught in French. Most third year courses are taught in English.
Only a few rare exceptions, duly justified by the student anf the mobility advisor, can be considered for the choice of courses at the Master's level.
The University of Lausanne offers French courses for non-French-speaking students.
Please note that access to modules 4, 5 and 6 (M34007, M34008, M34009, M34111, M34112, M34113, M34115, M34116, M34117) is limited.
Any external student interested in taking one or more of these modules must first make two choices with an order of priority for each of modules 4, 5 and 6. Depending on the availability, the School of Biology will confirm the possible registrations 2 weeks before the beginning of the Spring semester.
