The English department at UNIL introduces students to the active and critical study of the languages and literatures of the English-speaking world. The department unites specialists in literature and linguistics, who teach and research in a range of fields including English Linguistics, Modern English Literature, American Literature, Medieval Literature, Comparative Literature and Gender Studies. In these pages you will find all the practical information you might need during your studies in our department.
