Globalization and governance of sport

International sport governance is crucial in promoting fairness, equality, and integrity in sport. It requires collaboration between various stakeholders, such as sport organizations, governments, athletes, fans, and the media, to ensure that the spirit of sportsmanship is upheld and the values of sport are maintained. This strategic research area aims to develop research projects to evaluate the current practices of international sport governance and/or regulation. The findings could inform policy recommendations for improving international sport governance and/or regulation.
