CFAR Ranking
The ranking produced by the WFA-Center for Finance and Accounting Research (CFAR) at the Olin Business School of the University of Washington in the United States aims to evaluate the quality of research in finance conducted by various universities and business schools all over the world. This ranking is based on the number of academic research articles published in the most prestigious scientific journals in finance, economics, accountancy and management. HEC Lausanne is extremely well ranked.

VWL Ranking of the Forschungsmonitoring
The VWL University Ranking established by the Forschungsmonitoring examines the economic research performance of German, Austrian and Swiss universities. HEC Lausanne stands out:
- 3rd position for the University of Lausanne among all universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the university ranking for publications from 2017 to 2021 (weighted only taking into account publications in the best A and A+ level journals)
