Center for Risk Management (CRML)

For more than 10 years, the CRML has been developing and disseminating its expertise on the systemic risks likely to have an impact on our world and our economy. We also identify sustainable solutions to mitigate their effects.

China Economics and Finance Center (CEFC)

As a platform for exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Swiss universities and companies, the CEFC offers companies tailor-made training in innovation and development. The cutting-edge research carried out at the CEFC aims to help Swiss and Chinese researchers collaborate in areas such as international economics, financial services, transnational management and innovation management.

Institute of Applied Economics (CREA)

Renowned for its economic analyses and forecasts, our institute is the only one in French-speaking Switzerland to publish economic forecasts for the whole of the country. Our team of economists also carries out one-off economic research projects for the private and public sectors, as well as for international organisations.

Swiss Center for Luxury Research

Our centre brings together researchers and experts from the luxury sector to create a think tank on the future of luxury management. The centre pursues a number of objectives in collaboration with the online media Luxury Tribune. For example: raising the profile of innovation in the Swiss luxury industry, observing large-scale changes in society, etc.

Tax Policy Center

The Tax Policy Center covers all government decisions relating to taxation. It was set up by UNIL in conjunction with our Faculty and the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration. Its research focuses on the development of efficient, fair and neutral tax systems, the political economy of taxation, and behavioural responses to taxation. It also coordinates a research network on fiscal federalism and runs two continuing education programmes.
