Ms. Karen Topaz Druckman

A native New Yorker, Karen Topaz Druckman is a Senior Legal Advisor on Common Law legal systems, particularly in the law of the United States, at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne (Swiss Ministry of Justice).  Ms. Druckman holds an Artium Baccalaureus (A.B.). from Harvard University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Berkeley Law at the University of California and a Diplôme postgrade (LL.M.) from the University of Lausanne. She was, inter alia, a corporate associate with the Wall Street firm of Cravath, Swaine and Moore, ranked n°1 in the Vault 100 Most Prestigious Firms in the U.S., before moving to Switzerland. 

Ms. Druckman teaches in the Masters in Law programmes at the University of Lausanne and at the Université de Savoie Mont Blanc, in Chambéry. She has also lectured at the law schools of the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, the University of Bergamo, Universitat Jaume I de Castellón, and ONO Academic College, among others.
