Dr. Timothy Nielander

Timothy Nielander is a qualified US lawyer and English solicitor. His studies include a Master in Laws from the University of Houston and a Ph.D. from the Graduate Institute, University of Geneva. He practised law for a nearly decade in Seattle at the KLGates Law firm and then served as General Counsel for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in Geneva until 2010. For the past ten years, he has advised the United Nations, African Union, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and other international organizations and NGOs regarding governance and legal structures for multi-lateral public-private cooperation mechanisms. Dr. Nielander's advisory work focuses on institutional arrangements involving collaboration between States and non-State actors.

He established the GP3 Institute to provide a network of experts globally, that can provide technical assistance for projects focused on achieving the SDGs.
