Tuitions fees are very low (CHF 280 for the first semester + CHF 80 for each additional semester).
There are basically three ways of financing the doctorate:
- Assistantship
- Scholarship
- Job/Internship
Assistantship and SNSF scholarship are currently the most common ways how PhD students are financed in our program. It is probably the most comfortable and easiest solution for financing a doctorate. Work contracts do usually last for a year and are likely to be extended (up to a total of five years for university assistantships).
