Chen Cui is a “doctorant” and “chargé de cours” of medieval English language and literature in the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Denis Renevey. He studied in Peking, Venice, Bamberg, and Geneva before relocating to Lausanne in 2021 to conduct a doctoral project entitled "Eco-Narrative and Self-Expression in Medieval European Travel Writing" and, henceforth, has conducted research stay and further learning abroad in the University of Iceland (Reykjavík), Boston College (USA, Massachusetts), Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany), and University of Oxford (UK).
