Justine's Bio
Justine is a conservationist scientist with a strong interest in snow leopard conservation. She has been actively involved in snow leopard research and conservation since 2011. Justine works for the Snow Leopard Trust as a Regional Ecologist assisting various capacity building, research and conservation programs. She is also the Executive Director of the Snow Leopard Network. She completed her PhD on snow leopard conservation in China at Beijing Forestry University (in collaboration with Oxford University) and has been involved in survey design methods, capacity building of national institutions for large felid conservation and working on educational awareness initiatives in Beijing.

The Snow Leopard Trust (SLT) aims to protect the threatened snow leopard and its mountainous habitat through rigorous science, respectful community engagement, stakeholder partnerships, knowledge exchange and supportive conservation policies.
Founded in 1981 in Seattle WA, Snow Leopard Trust is the recognized world leader in snow leopard research and community-based conservation. As the largest organization working solely to protect the endangered snow leopard and its habitat in 12 countries of Asia, the Trust supports 65 scientists, researchers and staff members all over the globe including in field offices in China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, India and Pakistan.
