Cryo-electron microscopy of proteins in neurodegeneration
Cryo-electron microscopy is used to study the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration.
The Stahlberg lab uses high-resolution cryo-electron microscopy to study neurodegeneration and membrane protein systems. And we develop novel imaging technology in the areas of electron microscopy hardware and applications, sample preparation, data collection schemes, and data analysis software systems.
