Simon Scheidegger Assistant Professor Economics UNIL Profile |
Simon Scheidegger is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC) of the University of Lausanne. His research focuses developing numerical methods to solve and estimate high-dimensional optimal control problems, and to apply them to questions in climate change, macroeconomics, and finance. He has published papers in various international journals, including, among others: Econometrica, the Review of Economic Studies, the International Economic Review, or SIAM SISC.
Simon Scheidegger’s research focuses on developing computational methods to solve and estimate high-dimensional dynamic stochastic integrated assessment models to study, among other things, climate-change mitigating policies.
