This course provides a comprehensive introduction to research paradigms, methodologies, and designs for interdisciplinary and applied research in public administration. The contents discussed during this introductory course should enable students to perform their own research projects, including the independent identification of a study topic, formulation of research questions and hypotheses, conduct of a literature review as well as the appropriate selection and preparation of data collection and analysis strategies. This course will also challenge students to become better consumers of information and understand the importance of evidence-based decision-making.
