Studying at the IDHEAP

We look forward to welcoming you to our campus, nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva. As part of our exchange agreements, you have the opportunity to attend courses in the Master PMP program offered by the  Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration - IDHEAP.

Is your university a partner of UNIL?

To be able to study at IDHEAP, you must first make sure that your university has an agreement with the University of Lausanne.

The International Relations Service database will tell you whether your home university is a partner of UNIL.

If your university is a partner of UNIL, submit your application and have your Learning Agreement validated by the “Study Abroad Office” or “International Relations Office” of your home university.

Contact, installation and grants

The Social Affairs and Student Mobility Office (SASME) will be your main point of contact when you arrive at UNIL. You can get in touch with them for any questions you may have about:

• visas, residence permits, accommodation, insurance, etc.
• grants

Accommodation

Here you'll find information about moving to Lausanne. The University of Lausanne does not have a hall of residence on its campus. It does, however, work closely with the Fondation Maisons pour Etudiants Lausanne (FMEL), which accommodates over 3,500 students on 14 sites, mainly in the greater Lausanne area.

You'll need to budget between CHF 700 and CHF 800 per month for housing.

If your university is a member of the CIVIS alliance, your application will be given priority for housing.

Grant

A grant of CHF 400 per month (CHF 2,200 per semester) for students from European universities may be awarded by SASME.
