FDDM – Foundation for the Sustainable Development of Mountain Regions

The Foundation for the Sustainable Development of Mountain Regions (FDDM) is a non-profit organization founded by the State of Valais and the Municipality of Sion. Its mission is to advance sustainable development in Valais, across Switzerland, and globally. At the core of its work is the coordination of the cantonal Agenda 21 implementation. FDDM also plays a key role in organizing events, promoting education, and fostering international cooperation.
