Admission to the Bachelor's program: how to apply?
UNIL's Admissions Unit (SII) manages the admission process for Bachelor's degree programs (full-time, part-time and elite athletes) for candidates with a maturité fédérale or other recognized qualification, and for unregistered students wishing to attend lectures. HEC Lausanne does not manage these admissions.
All relevant information, such as admission conditions, deadlines and university fees, can be found on the pages of the SII website.
Subject to certain conditions, UNIL offers alternative access to the Bachelor's program for students without a maturité fédérale or other recognized qualification.
Entrance exam: Deadline: January 31 to submit applications to HEC Lausanne. The Règlement de l'examen préalable d'admission de la Faculté des HEC sets out the conditions for admission to the exam, and the UNIL courses page details the entrance exam program for each discipline.
Record-based admission: The SII manages record-based admissions. Find out more about admission deadlines and conditions.
The Social Affairs and Student Mobility Unit (SASME) offers a wide range of services to support UNIL students.
Anyone aged 18 or over can attend Université de Lausanne courses as an auditor. All you need to do is register with the Registrations and Enrolments Department before the start of the course. For further information: Auditeurs.
The SII manages re-registration and the transfer of a Bachelor's degree from one faculty to another.
