Conditions

Academic year 2024-2025

Below are the conditions required by HEC Lausanne for participating in an exchange program. These conditions apply to following types of exchanges: General agreements, SEMP, CIVIS (excluding BIPs), Faculty, QTEM Program, Swiss Mobility & Free Mover.

General conditions

Application File for an Exchange

Please ensure the following conditions are met, otherwise, your application will not be accepted:

1. Includes all required documents, as per the provided instructions
2. Meets the grade average required by HEC Lausanne and the partner universities
3. Complies with the language requirements of the partner universities
4. Is submitted complete and by the deadline

Your application will be assessed based on academic and extracurricular criteria, as well as your motivation for your chosen destination(s).

Selection process

The allocation of an exchange seat is not guaranteed, as the number of seats available at each institution is limited.

If you are allocated an exchange seat in the first selection round, you will no longer be eligible to apply for other destinations.

If you decline a seat that has been offered to you, you will not be eligible for any other exchange, including a Free Mover.

If the selection occurs before the publication of the Winter session results and your application does not meet the required gade average, it will be cancelled. You will then be unable to apply for other destinations (with the exception of Swiss Mobility, Spring semester - Bachelor).
