SEMP, CIVIS & Faculty agreements

Important

  • Please note the conditions, the application procedures, and deadlines for each exchange agreement
  • You can submit your application in either French or English
  • You may choose up to 5 destinations from SEMP, CIVIS and/or Faculty destinations
     
    • 5 destinations = 5 Learning Agreements
    • Since your Learning Agreement is provisional at the time of application, only your signature is required
  • You will receive a reply about your selection by March 31st at the latest
  • If your initial application to the SEMP, CIVIS and/or Faculty agreements is not successful, a second round of selection will be available for any remaining seats (for those who have applied)

How to apply?

To prepare and apply for an exchange through the SEMP, CIVIS and/or Faculty agreements, please follow these steps:

Online application - Closed

The online application, on our Intranet (UNIL login), is closed.

  1. Prepare Documents: Compile the following documents into a single PDF, in the specified order:
    • One motivation letter written in your own words, addressed to the HEC Selection committee (maximum 450 words)
    • Curriculum Vitae
    • Learning Agreement(s) SEMP/CIVIS/Faculty, one per destination (the same document for overseas destinations)
    • University transcripts for institutions outside HEC Lausanne (from previous university studies)
    • Language test results when required
       
  2. Rename your Application File: Save and rename your PDF as follows:
    NAME_Firstname_ExchangeApplication_2024-25

     
  3. Submit your Application: Complete the fields in the form and upload your PDF application file at the end of the form.
