Industry and Community Project (ICPU)
"Rethinking food systems for better health and sustainability"
The ICPU partnership, bringing together the universities of Padua, Sydney, and Lausanne, is organizing a collaborative project involving local industrial partners. This year, at the University of Sydney, you will work on case studies proposed by these partners. The class will consist of participants from the three universities, and external companies will also be involved in the project.
Project Summary
Food, central to global identity and livelihoods, is crucial but faces environmental challenges. This project engages interdisciplinary student teams to explore sustainable solutions aimed at transforming food systems to meet the changing needs of the population.
Dates
Between June 30 and July 27 2025
- 30 June – 3 July online delivery (4-7pm AEST)
- 4 – 6 July for travel/independent study
- 7 -18 July in person delivery, Sydney
- 21-27 July, independent study & completing assessments
Modalities
- The project will combine online activities with the involvement of external partners (industries, community organizations, other stakeholders) and in-person classes.
Validation of 6 ECTS credits as an option in Management (3rd-year credits).

Conditions for applying
- Be enrolled in the Faculty of HEC in the 2nd year of the Bachelor's program during the 2024-2025 academic year.
