Iris Prigent

My main project focuses on modelling the role of niche-construction for the emergence of polymorphism in metapopulations. Using an adaptive dynamic approach, I model the evolution of life history traits (such as resource consumption, habitat maintenance, dispersal, etc.) in heterogeneous populations, in order to find the conditions for coexisting strategies to be selected.

From my background in biology and mathematics, I have a strong interest in theoretical evolution in diverse subjects, notably adaptive dynamics, speciation and phylogeny.
