Following my Bachelor in Biology at the University of Lausanne, I decided to continue my studies with a Master in Ecology. I completed my master’s project in Alexandre Roulin’s group, and studied the behavioral adaptation of barn owls (Tyto alba) under a stressful situation. I then began an interdisciplinary doctoral thesis for which I’m focusing on the collaboration between scientists and farmers and its impact on farmer’s pro-environmental behaviors. I’m interested in the factors motivating farmers to switch to an eco-friendlier agriculture, and whether we, as scientists, could help trigger this change. This PhD dissertation is co-supervised by Professor Fabrizio Butera, a social psychologist at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lausanne.
