Kenneth Kim

My research background is in marine biology and molecular ecology. My past and current research is focused in answering diverse evolutionary questions using molecular and bioinformatic tools. During my Master's study, I investigated population genetics and reproductive isolation in tropical echinoderm species exhibiting cryptic genetic diversity in the western pacific using both molecular and morphological data. Currently, I am  working in the Sinergia project to investigate the evolution of moulting in Arthropoda. My study is currently focused in comparative transcriptomics and my objective is to elucidate the gene expression dynamics of moulting in Arthropoda and identify conserved and lineage specific processes related to moulting.
