My work is based on sampling environmental DNA in order to assess the impact on human-driven disturbances on the ecosystem. I have ongoing projects focusing on the soil-arthrpod response to pesticides (Switzerland, sampling the soil and amplifying arthrpod DNA) and on the diet competition between large ungulates in two managed reserves (Netherlands and Poland, sampling the scats of herbivores and quantifying their plant diet composition). Also, I do research on eDNA methodology, to compare traditional methods to eDNA (particularly camera traps vs eDNA).
