The University of Lausanne will organise on 16th and 17th June 2022 the 16th Annual Conference of the Association for the Study of Sport and the European Union (Sport & EU), ten years after it organised the 2012 edition. This scientific conference brings together academics interested in the influence of the EU and broader Europe upon sport which is today a global phenomenon touching more than three fourths of the European population (both grassroots and high level sport). Political scientists, legal experts, sport economists, sport historians, sociologists will gather in Lausanne, the Olympic capital, for this conference.
Ms. Francine Raveney, the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agrement on Sport of the Council of Europe, will be one of the keynote speakers as well as a UEFA representative and Prof. em. Waldimir Andreff.
