How to Read and Analyse Academic Texts for BA and MA Students (dès B1)
Learning outcomes
- Read and analyse academic texts critically, paying particular attention to the logic of theories, methodology and argumentation
- Identify conceptual errors in work, keeping in mind the scientific requirements of one's field
- Identify and understand concepts and terminology generally used in a collection of scientific texts from one's field
- Apply reading comprehension strategies as well as note-taking techniques
- Identify the cultural differences which influence spoken and written communication
