Important dates
Semester
Language Center courses begin one week after UNIL courses.
Our teachers will assess your level according to the information you provide when you sign-up online.
As the level and the timetabling of each module is based on the inscriptions we receive, you will not necessarily be placed in a group.

Intersemester
During the intersemester period there are:
- intensive Integrated Skills modules
- Winter: 1 week, 6 periods per day
- Summer: 2 weeks, 4 periods per day
- Specific skills modules (of various lengths)

A few days after the inscription deadline you will receive a message (UNIL email) notifying you that:
- You have been placed in a group. If you need to pay for the module, you will also receive the bill.
- Your inscription is cancelled, as there are no groups which correspond to your level.
- Should there be too many inscriptions for a group: the Centre de langues may contact those who have not been placed in the group by email if a place becomes available.
