Academic couples, or couples where one of the partners works at the university, generally move jobs throughout their academic careers, according to the posts they are offered. In most cases, both partners want to remain in employment and progress their respective careers. People who are about to be hired by UNIL therefore often need support and assistance to help their partner integrate professionally.
